Dont bother with this app. It appears to be something the developers put together in a few minutes as it offers no options for the feeds or setup. It also integrates solely into the notification centre view, but not into notifications itself, so there are no options for banners or sounds when a new article is posted.

It seems pretty useless. No matter what i input it “can’t add that"

The App will accept feeds in the main app, but will not display anything in its Notification “block”. Support is unresponsive.

waste of $5. does nothing

I really like Robocat and admire their work; however, this version seems like it was rushed out of the door way too quickly, eas it doesn’t work at all and if it does, it is really glitchy and lacks polish. For example, the Today widget either shows an empty screen or ‘Unable to Load’. Same issue occurs on iOS. :/

When I first saw OS X Yosemite unveiled last June, one of the things I was most excited about was widgets. I really wanted a widget to display the news in my today view. Well, all I can say about this app is— about time!! (; My one complaint is that the app occasionally suffers from an issue where articles overlap each other and all that is displayed is a garbled mush. However, after a minute or two the problem always corrects itself. I have a feeling this bug will be patched though. Either way, I am really glad this is available and plan on using it extensively as my own personal news ticker.

This is a good widget. It is the news I want when I want it. Good on the iphone too. Thanks

It keeps reverting to “max” number of stories instead of a smaller number. If you have more than one feed, then this means that only one feed will be visible due to the sheer volume that “max” allows. This kind of defeats the point of having it…making it really mediocre. But, it does make the feed appear in the notifications center, which is somewhat exceptional...
